What's a felony?
A felony is a serious crime which can land you in state prison for a year or more.
If I get charged with a felony offense will I go to State Prison?

If I don't want to testify in court what are my options?
As the defendant you have the right to remain silent and the judge or the jury shall not use your right to remain silent against you.
What is an arraignment?
This is the first appearance that the defendant makes in court. You will hear the charges against you. This is the first time you formally plead not guilty.
If I can't afford an attorney, what do I do?
If you can't afford an attorney one will be appointed to you but the judge will determine whether you are financially eligible during your arraignment.
If I can't pay my fine what will happen.
You can ask for time to pay and most judges will give you time to pay.
What is Aggravated Unlicensed Operation?
Aggravated unlicensed operation means you were caught operating a
motor vehicle while your License to operate a vehicle was suspended or
revoked. This crime at the very least is a second degree criminal misdemeanor
and can be as bad as a felony offense.
